More on “Climategate”

As you would expect, the so-called scientists at the center of “Climategate” are trying to say that this is much ado over little. In true liberal fashion, Michael Mann, of Penn State, is complaining that “they’ve” stolen personal emails. Would you believe that Mr. Mann even went on to say that the emails were “confidential between colleagues who often speak in a language they understand and is often foreign to the outside world”? Please, Mr. Mann, don’t patronize us. You’ve been busted and are continuing to cause harm to the reputation of your profession. Mr. Mann went on to add that this has made “something innocent into something nefarious.”

In solidarity with fellow members of the Climate Change Religion, Phil Jones, Director of the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, and the facility from which the emails were hacked said, “My colleagues and I accept that some of the published emails do not read well. I regret any upset or confusion caused as a result. Some were clearly written in the heat of the moment, others use colloquialisms frequently used between close colleagues.”

Again, please, some of us may have been born at night, but it wasn’t last night. You folks were smart enough to come up with this global warming scheme in order to get money. Surely you’re smart enough to come up with a better story than common people are not smart enough to know what was actually meant, despite what was actually written.

Fox News is now reporting on “Climategate”, calling it a “game changer”, and ensuring that its viewers know by airing some of the most damaging quotes from the emails. Sen. Jim Inhofe is also advising all the relevant government agencies about the scandal and this is likely the final nail in the coffin of Cap and Trade legislation. “Climategate” will also make the upcoming Copenhagen climate change summit a circus.

Australia is leading the revolt against the global warming hoax. ABC news reports that Five liberal party leaders have resigned their positions rather than follow their leader Malcolm Turnbull in voting with Kevin Rudd’s Government on a new Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). The ETS is Australia’s version of America’s proposed Cap and Trade legislation. From ABC:

The Liberal Party is in turmoil with the resignations of five frontbenchers from their portfolios this afternoon in protest against the emissions trading scheme. Tony Abbott, Sophie Mirabella, Tony Smith and Senators Nick Minchin and Eric Abetz have all quit their portfolios because they cannot vote for the legislation. Senate whip Stephen Parry has also relinquished his position.

In some countries, climate change advocates may even face criminal charges. Oh that they could start with Al Gore, investigating the millions he has made by perpetrating this scam on the American people.
