Inside the Obama Healthcare Proposal
The following is a list of what is actually inside the Democrat sponsored healthcare bill (H.R.3200). Many of the proposals came as a surprise to me and I’m sure they will surprise you too.
Pg 22 of the HC Bill MANDATES the Government will audit books of ALL EMPLOYERS that self insure!!
Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill – THERE WILL BE A GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE that decides what treatments/benefits you receive
Pg 29 lines 4-16 in the HC bill – YOUR HEALTHCARE IS RATIONED!!!
Pg 42 of HC Bill – The Health Choices Commissioner will choose UR HC Benefits for you. You have no choice!
PG 50 Section 152 in HC bill – HC will be provided for ALL non US citizens, illegal or otherwise.
Pg 58HC Bill – Government will have real-time access to all individuals finances & a National ID Healthcard will be issued!
Pg 59 HC Bill lines 21-24 Government will have direct access to your banks accounts for electronic funds transfer…
PG 65 Sec 164 is a payoff subsidized plan for retirees and their families in Unions & community organizations (ACORN).
Pg 72 Lines 8-14 Government is creating an HC Exchange to bring private HC plans under Government control.
PG 84 Sec 203 HC bill – Government mandates ALL benefit packages for private HC plans in the Exchange.
PG 85 Line 7 HC Bill – Specs for of Benefit Levels for Plans = The Government will ration your Healthcare!
PG 91 Lines 4-7 HC Bill – Government mandates linguistic appropriate services. Example – Translation for illegal aliens.
Pg 95 HC Bill Lines 8-18 The Government will use groups i.e., ACORN & Ameri-corps 2 sign up individual for Government HC plan.
PG 85 Line 7 HC Bill – Specs of Ben Levels for Plans. #AARP members – Your Health care WILL be rationed
-PG 102 Lines 12-18 HC Bill – Medicaid Eligible Individual will b automatically enrolled in Medicaid. No choice.
pg 124 lines 24-25 HC No company can sue GOVERNMENT on price fixing. No “judicial review” against Government Monopoly!
pg 127 Lines 1-16 HC Bill – Doctors/ #AMA – The Government will tell YOU what you can make.
Pg 145 Line 15-17 An Employer MUST auto enroll new employees into public option plan. NO CHOICE!
Pg 126 Lines 22-25 Employers MUST pay for HC for part time employees AND their families.
Pg 149 Lines 16-24 ANY Employer with payroll 400k & above who does not provide public option pays 8% tax on all payroll!
pg 150 Lines 9-13 Business with payroll between 251k & 400k who doesn’t provide public option pays 2-6% tax on all payroll!
Pg 167 Lines 18-23 ANY individual who doesn’t have acceptable HC according to Government will be taxed 2.5% of income.
Pg 170 Lines 1-3 HC Bill Any NONRESIDENT Alien is exempt from individual taxes. (Americans will pay)!!!
Pg 195 HC Bill -officers & employees of HC Admin (GOVERNMENT) will have access to ALL Americans finance and personal records!!!
PG 203 Line 14-15 HC – “The tax imposed under this section shall not be treated as tax” Yes, it says that!
Pg 239 Line 14-24 HC Bill Government will reduce physician Services for Medicaid. Seniors, low income, poor affected.
Pg 241 Line 6-8 HC Bill – Doctors, doesn’t matter what specialty you have, you’ll all be paid the same!!!
PG 253 Line 10-18 Government sets value of Dr’s time, professional judgment, etc. Literally value of humans.
PG 265 Sec 1131Government mandates & controls productivity for private HC industries.
PG 268 Sec 1141 Fed Government regulates rental & purchase of power driven wheelchairs.
PG 272 SEC. 1145. TREATMENT OF CERTAIN CANCER HOSPITALS – Cancer patients – welcome to rationing!
Page 280 Sec 1151 The Government will penalize hospitals for what Government deems preventable readmissions.
Pg 298 Lines 9-11 Drs, treat a patient during initial admission that results in a misread-Government will penalize you.
Pg 317 L 13-20 PROHIBITION on ownership/investment. Government tells Drs. what/how much they can own.
Pg 317-318 lines 21-25,1-3 PROHIBITION on expansion- Government is mandating hospitals cannot expand!
pg 321 2-13 Hospitals have opportunity to apply for exception BUT community input required. Can you say ACORN?
Pg335 L 16-25 Pg 336-339 – Government mandates establishment of outcome based measures. HC the way they want. Rationing
Pg 341 Lines 3-9 Government has authority to disqualify Medicare Adv Plans, HMOs, etc. Forcing people into Government plan.
Pg 354 Sec 1177 – Government will RESTRICT enrollment of Special needs people!
Pg 379 Sec 1191 Government creates more bureaucracy – Tele-health Advisory Committee. Can you say HC by phone?
PG 425 Lines 4-12 Government mandates Advance Care Planning Consult. Think Senior Citizens end of life.
Pg 425 Lines 17-19 Government will instruct & consult regarding living wills, durable powers of atty. Mandatory!
PG 425 Lines 22-25, 426 Lines 1-3 Government provides approved list of end of life resources, guiding you in death!
PG 427 Lines 15-24 Government mandates program for orders for end of life. The Government has a say in how your life ends!
Pg 429 Lines 1-9 An “adv. care planning consult” will be used frequently as patients health deteriorates.
PG 429 Lines 10-12 “adv. care consultation” may include an ORDER for end of life plans. AN ORDER from GOVERNMENT!!!
Pg 429 Lines 13-25 – The government will specify which Doctors can write an end of life order.
PG 430 Lines 11-15 The Government will decide what level of treatment you will have at end of life.
Pg 469 – Community Based Home Medical Services=Non-profit orgs. Hello, ACORN Medical Services here!!?
Page 472 Lines 14-17 PAYMENT TO COMMUNITY-BASED ORG. 1 monthly payment to a community-based organization. Like ACORN?
PG 489 Sec 1308 The Government will cover Marriage & Family therapy. Which means they will insert Government into your marriage!
Pg 494-498 Government will cover Mental Health Services including defining, creating, rationing those services!

Hi Julie,
I’m sure that many people are asking themselves that very same question. Every few decades a politician comes along who has the ability to say what people want to hear, with no concern or desire to actually be the person the voters think they are electing. The last politician I remember like this was Jimmy Carter, also a Democrat.

Hey Billy, I heard yesterday, if someone had a “Living Will” they could be in big trouble, because the Gov’t will use this to deny health care by the hospitals. Also that Religious hospitals will be closed, I use the the Providence hospital in Mobile for my breast cancer, it’s a Catholic hospital. They do good work there, I don’t it want it to close.

I hadn’t heard anything about healthcare reform’s effects on living wills, nor had I thought about its effects on faith based hospitals. Given the Socialists Democrats’ past attitudes when it comes to religion and God, I would not be surprised that they would find a way to limit or eliminate funding of a Catholic hospital. I have another question, not exactly about the heath care. You hear a lot about the Czars, that Obama is placing in certain positions. Well I understand that each state is having a Czar or more. Alabama already has one, Nevada has one and Lousiana has about 15. These Czars of our state are not accountable to anyone but Obama, we have Senators and House of Representives, to keep up with our state. What exactly are these State Czars going to be doing and not be accountable to anyone but Obama? This just doesn’t sound right! We need to get some answers from our Senators and Representatives. We certainly need to attend some meetings!

Back in the 40′s after WWII, as a child, I heard my grandparents speak of this subject of America becoming a socialistic nation not far in the future…Well here we are folks…I will soon be 68 years of age and looks like I will be seeing prophecy fulfilled..That which was spoken many years ago…I don’t like it one bit…Before the election my Mom said that this man Obama is a deceiver…She is 87 years old and has seen a lot happen in her years…Her word is fact!!! The people in America who helped put this man in are going to be crying, “Oh me” What have I done”!!! God help us all and He will…

A Simple Proposal:
1) Create a very basic, high-deductible, catastrophic-event government health-care policy that pays for major medical events only. Include everyone and pay for it with taxes. No one would ever again lose their home or be denied life-saving procedures. It would be cheap because it would be “single payer” and would include the whole pool of healthy and unhealthy people, sharing the risk universally. Billing would be simple for hospitals who would be guaranteed payment and the cost of providing health care would be taken of the backs of businesses.
2) Middle class and wealthy consumers would pay for routine illness events out of pocket, just like getting your car repaired, or they could purchase add-on insurance from private companies, as they choose.
3) Poor people would get extra coverage for routine illnesses as welfare or in free government or charity clinics. There will always be people who are so poor that they can’t contribute anything.
Wouldn’t this solve everything at modest cost to the public, or I am just simple-minded?

Why not just implement suggestion number 3 and leave most people,the middle class and wealthy who don’t need or want healthcare reform, out of it? The answer is because healthcare reform is not about improving healthcare. It is about the Socialist Democrats grabbing command and control of yet another major sector of the American economy.
