A Word about the War on Terror
Hello everyone. My name is Jeff Trehern. There are some things happening in America that I do not understand. Perhaps I am a little to old fashioned but I think we are moving in the wrong direction. What we need is some common sense.
Now I want to talk about the war on terror. I have been hearing a lot of people saying things like we need to pull out of Iraq. Pull out you say? We should not pull out of anything. Let the terrorist do that. We should be advancing constantly. I want to say something to the Iraqi people. It is your responsibility to ensure the continuation of democracy for your country. It is NOT the responsibility of the American government. If you see someone with a car bomb STOP THEM! It is time for you to take control of your government. That is something that I should say to the American people as well but that is for another post.
In this age of nuclear weapons, the war on terror is necessary and inevitable. If the liberals do not understand that, they need to spend more time reading their history books and less time watching American Idol. We cannot afford to wait for the fight to come to us. We have to be proactive and take the fight to these radical islamic cowards. Anyone that would kill innocent women and children and hide behind their “god” is a coward. After WWII a plaque was created and placed in Dachau, Germany. The plaque reads “Never Again”. If we aren’t careful and vigilant against the war on terror, it will happen again. I would love to have our troops home and not fighting a war in the middle east. The quickest way to bring them home is to get the people that are causing all the problems. Turn our military loose and let them kill these terrorists. Just as General George Patton said, “May God have mercy on my enemies, because I won’t”.
